Ali & Ryan had a beautiful ceremony and cocktail reception at Sunset da Mona Lisa- a restaurant perched atop of cliffs overlooking the Cabo San Lucas bay and our famous Arch. The ladies had a fun filled morning with a spa party at Desert Spa while the guys got ready at their resort wearing matching seersucker suits. Green cymbidium orchids and imported yellow callas were the chosen flowers for all arrangements including on the cake. After the cocktail and photo shoot the group return to their all-inclusive resort for dinner.
Jamie & Amanda chose two beautiful villas in the Pedregal community to host their May 25th wedding. The ceremony & reception took place at Villa del los Suenos, while the cocktail was held across the street at Villa Buena Vida. The musical entertainment included a Mexican trio and Vegas DJ who made the trip down to Cabo to play for the bride & groom. The reception was a non-traditional cocktail/lounge type event featuring an extensive buffet of international cuisine and full bar. Dessert was a beautiful 3-tier wedding cake with an opalescent finish. A beautiful and fun wedding in all aspects. photos: Manuel Burgoin www.weddingsinloscabos.com/blog
Ashley & Randy had their beautiful wedding at the Cabo del Sol Country Club. Their theme was ‘the garden meets the ocean’ with a floral scheme of purple freesia and lisianthus, white ranuculus, hydrangea and orchids, in addition to green orchids. In lieu of traditional escort cards we did a single white mini rose bloom in a glass vase with the couples name & table assignment attached on a card. There were two cakes including a traditional 3-tier wedding cake and special groom’s cake designed in the shape of his favorite champagne bottle. Highlights of the evening included a live classical quartet and live jazz band featuring Daline Jones. To end the evening guests saw the bride & groom off via a tunnel of sparklers. Definitely a magical night to remember!
Amanda and Ben shared their special day with 27 of their family members and close friends. A larger reception back home in Seattle would follow their romantic Cabo nuptials for those who could not make the journey south. Amanda chose the Palapa Fiesta location at Sheraton to host her ceremony and cocktail reception which is a laid back and very Mexican setting. Other activites the group enjoyed while in Cabo included a ladies spa day at Desert Spa, and the guys took a three day excursion on the Wide Open Baja race buggies travelling from Cabo San Lucas north to Lareto.
Jennifer and Adam decided to use multiple venues for their wedding. It was important that there ceremony take place in a beautiful chapel (we have a few here in Los Cabos) afterwhich we transported guests to the Esperanza Resort. At Esperanza, guests enjoyed cocktails on a seaside terrace, dinner on the sand, and reception/dancing inside the Land’s End Room which we outfitted with pink and orange lighting to accent the white draping. Entertainment for the night included a fire dance performance, slideshow, tango performance by the newlyweds, a great DJ and an exit for the newlyweds via horse and carriage. What an amazing wedding and beautiful couple!
Michelle & Esteban chose Esperanza Resort (an amazing beautiful and one of my favorite resorts in Cabo) to host their wedding. Their colors were fuchsia & orange to accent the tropcial Mexican culture and to pop against the white linens and tulle. These colors were woven into all details such as the flowers, menus, maraca placecards, hair flowers, bridal party attire, the centerpieces and in accent lighting for the reception lounge venue. It was a magical, memorable and fun evening!
Sarah & Brent were a really fun couple that had a unique idea for their Valentine’s Day wedding. They came to Cabo along with their 23 closest family members & friends on a 10 day Cruise out of Southern California. While in port in Cabo, we planned to have their intimate beach wedding & photo shoot.
Myself and private transportation collected the group from the marina and drove to Pedregal Beach for the ceremony, wedding cake, cold beers, and a fun 2 hours in the sun before returning the group to the ship.
As their cruise ship was in port until 7:00pm they also enjoyed some of Cabo’s activities such as swimming with the dolphins at the Dolphin Encounter, shopping at the flee markets in downtown, and enjoying the fun cantinas on the marina.
